The Things I WILL Do Once I Am Back to "Normal"

There are things I fully intend to do once I've recovered after my knee surgery. This will be an ever-updated list. (Granted, not all of this necessitates the ability to walk unassisted)

1. Purchase and fully restore one of two automobiles (both if Honey lets me):
    a. A 1976 Maverick (they say cars resemble their owners, ya know.)
    b. A 1965 Chevy Truck. But a '72 would suffice.

2. Hummingbird Tattoo!

3. Enroll in College.

4. Learn to play Guitar and Piano, and maybe one day... DRUMS!!

5. Get a BIKE.Use it.

6. Further embrace my love of nature. Continue to incorporate this into my cooking, cleaning, and environment.

7. Audition for things.

8. Become Familiar with Downtown Chicago.

9. Familiarize my children with Elvis. Crocheting. Making Ganache.

10. ZUMBA!!

First Post, New Blog

I'm starting my new blog. I had one before, but the last time I posted was in 2010. Not very dedicated.

It's very late Tuesday eveing. This time next week, I'll be in a big ole knee brace, having just had a cartilage transplant. At this point, because there are some really great blogs on the procedure and recovery, I don't intend to get too 'bloggy' into that area, but we'll see how it goes. If my experience is all that different, I'll share.

I'd like to think that I'll have time for some of the things I don't take time for... Crafty stuff, reading, journalling. I'd like to become more at peace, more centered. This blog may very well chart my progress as I reprioritize and choose to actually LIVE and embrace my life as the gift that it is, rather than lamenting as it happens around me.
